This is a local restaurant in the quiet Tuluk Dalam area, but many locals make the effort to come here to eat or order takeout.

A local restaurant located in a quiet spot in the north of Pangkor Island. It’s a delicious restaurant.

Next door is the boat repair shop run by her husband(Abang Kerry).
The building is simple, so it may be difficult for first-time visitors such as tourists to enter.
The hostess, always smiling, will kindly accommodate even those who request “No Spicy".
This is a place where you can relax while enjoying the view of the mainland across the shallow sea and listening to the beautiful chirping of birds.
There are lots of cute pet cats on the floor, so please refrain from coming if you are concerned about hygiene.

A local Malay restaurant along the road.
Mee Sup Dagin (beef noodles) here is a refreshing noodle soup with beef and fried fish cakes, and is an addictive dish.

It is served with grated green chili peppers, and adding just a little to the soup will tighten the overall flavor and enhance the umami.
For those who don’t like spicy food, just the tip of a spoon is enough.
If you like spicy food, you can add the whole amount, but do so at your own risk.
*They’ve recently started adding coriander, so if you don’t like it, just say so when you order.
Coriander = ketumbar segar
There are also other menu items centered around stir-fried dishes.
⭐⭐ Reasonable price

The entrance to each restaurant in the building on the coastal street is numbered, and this restaurant is number 7, so that’s how it’s called by the locals.
The seafood displayed in the case in front of the store is priced at tourist prices, just like other restaurants, but the rest of the menu is reasonably priced.

If you don’t like spicy food, you can just say “No spicy" and they’ll accommodate, but if the restaurant is busy, dad in charge of cooking sometimes forgets to say so.
Accept his mistake with a generous heart and try Nasi goreng pataya, where the spiciness is mellowed by the flavor of the egg.
There are also various other menu items.
⭐ A wide variety of food and drinks

It is open from around 3:00 PM until late at night.
Set meals and Western dishes are a bit pricey, but other dishes are reasonably priced (e.g. rice + fried beef + fried vegetables + drink for about Rm20).
They used to cater to vegetarians, but I’m not sure if that’s the case now.
*Prices in the menu are for 2024.

⭐⭐ Fried fish is popular

Due to coastal landscape development work, all restaurants and shops in this area have been relocated to newly constructed buildings south of the location shown on Google Maps, near the taxi stand.(2026.01)
Malay restaurant along the coast. The fish fry here is very popular with tourists.
There is no menu as a Nasi Campur restaurant
You serve yourself as much rice as you like on your plate, then choose your favorite side dishes from a selection of several on the same plate, and then order a drink.

You can pay before you sit at your table, or a staff member will come by later to check your plate and give you a note with the price so you can pay after your meal.
If they don’t come to check, please declare what you have eaten and what you drink when you pay (if you don’t understand the language, point to each dish on the tray).
The restaurant next door (on the left) is not a buffet, but the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious, so be sure to check it out when Kedai Babu is closed.

A Malay restaurant on the coastal road that mainly serves stir-fried dishes.
Nasi Goreng Jepun (Japanese-style garlic fried rice with beef), for those who don’t like spicy food, is not on the menu, but if you ask the staff they will help you.
However, please note no stir-fry dishes served until lunchtime, and the staff may have forgotten how to make it.

There are few restaurants in this area that are open in the mornings during the off-season, so Westerners who are unable to find breakfast flock to this restaurant,
and recently the prices have been a little higher than the quality.
The cheerful owner also runs two guesthouses, so if you’re having trouble finding a place to stay, it might be worth asking him.
