You can purchase basic medical supplies and some medicines, such as antibiotics, without a doctor’s prescription. Note: For higher-quality bandages and alcohol disinfectants, we recommend shops in Pangkor Town or SPK (Sungai Pinang Kecil).

While medical fees are very low for Malaysian citizens, please note that fees for foreigners are significantly higher.

- Required Deposit: Foreigners must pay a pre-admission deposit, which typically ranges from RM 1,400 to RM 7,000+ depending on the severity of the case and whether surgery is required.
