Required for those traveling to Malaysia

From 1 January 2024, all foreign passengers entering Malaysia will be required to submit a digital arrival card in advance.
Target Audience :

All foreign passengers entering Malaysia except for the following exemptions *Note 1

Exempted person :
  • All Singaporeans
  • Diplomats and official passport holders
  • Malaysian permanent residents and Malaysian long-term visa holders
  • Brunei Identity Card holders (Sijil Pengenalan Biasa Brunei (GCI)) and Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveler Programme users (BMFTP)
  • Thailand Cross Border Pass holders and Indonesia Cross Border Pass holders
Registration available days:

Registration is possible from 3 days before your arrival in Malaysia (registration is not possible before that).

Please register via “REGISTRATION" or “REGISTER" on the Digital Arrival Card website.

When you enter the country for the first time after registering with MDAC, if you register your fingerprints at the manned counter (which is crowded), you will be able to use the automatic gate (which is not crowded) when you leave the country and when you enter and leave the country from then on.
