Known Malay as “Pulau Pangkor,” this tropical island is one of the closest beach destinations to Kuala Lumpur, making it an easily accessible resort island for families, couples, and group travelers.

Located along the Strait of Malacca, the island is just a 10-minute ferry ride from the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, offering a convenient and stress-free journey from the city. Its peaceful atmosphere and uncrowded beaches make it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a quiet island getaway in Malaysia.
