📝Flights via Ipoh will increase travel time
Express buses that go through Ipoh and its surrounding areas take about an hour longer than other routes.
Kesatuan Express definitely goes through Ipoh, but there seem to be other buses that go through Ipoh, so it’s just a matter of luck.
The most important thing is to ask the staff about the arrival time at Lumut , and then decide whether to wait for the next flight or take the earliest flight.
The estimated arrival time is 4.5 hours after the departure time.
Main stops on express buses
Is it cold inside the express bus?
- Inside the bus to protect yourself from the air conditioning too cold, It’s useful to have wear a thin jacket such as a front-opening hoodie.
- Before boarding always use the toilet let’s get it done.
There are short toilet breaks along the way, but the weather is making it necessary to hydrate, and the air-conditioned interior of the bus makes it easy to feel the need to use the toilet.
(I have had to force the bus to stop at service areas on the highway several times.) - Moreover, toilet breaks are surprisingly short (about 5 min), and the bus sometimes departs without even checking the number of passengers.
also important to let the driver know you are there when you get off.

From Lumut Bus Terminal to Ferry Terminal
*If you are boarding from Marina Island, please refer here.
To Ferry Terminal from Bus Terminal

How to get from Bus Terminal to the ferry terminal
- There is a ticket counter for express buses at the end of the bus terminal (the side not near the public toilets🚻), so head there.
- Continue walking with the express bus ticket counter on your right.
- Continue straight through the site of the former food court-style restaurant.
- You will come to a narrow road, cross it.
- Go straight through the parking lot on the right.
If you have a suitcase with wheels, it will be easier to go through the covered passage in the building on the left. - When you reach the road, cross it and follow the curve ahead on the left.

- There will be many taxi drivers waiting near the exit on the right side just before that building.
- Once you tell them your destination, the driver will guide you to the taxi parked in the parking lot.
- The taxi is a bright pink minivan
(but it is not air-conditioned) .
*If you ride an unlicensed motorbike taxi or car, you do so at your own risk.

⚠To avoid any unpleasant experiences.
Taxis on Pangkor Island are not metered and are determined by destination and number of passengers.
However, some taxi drivers, if they only have one or two passengers, will ask other passengers to join them and charge them a fare.
You can ignore this, but if you are not traveling with a passenger, the driver may ask you to pay an additional fare when you get off, so be sure to check the fare before boarding.
